Thermal Imaging inspection offers a non-evasive or non-destructive way to find deficiencies in a home that would otherwise be overlooked. Utilizing a Thermal Imaging Camera, missing insulation in walls and ceilings, wet areas in walls, floors, and ceilings, leaking HVAC ducts, and over heated electrical components can be detected.
This tool adds so much more to a basic home inspection by identifying areas of concern that the buyer and can have repaired by the seller. If your Houston Home Inspector doesn't provide thermal imaging... you might consider getting a different Home Inspector.
